The Process
Let's Break it Down
Step 1: Make Things Official!
You already made the first move by contacting me. Once you have reviewed all the information in this guide, the next step when you're ready to move forward is to let me know so I can send you the next available shoot dates. Once you select your date, I will send you a contract and invoice. All you have to do is review and sign the contract, pay the non-refundable session fee, and voila! You have just booked your exclusive boudoir experience with me!
Step 2: Start Reflecting
Once you are officially booked, I'll send you a comprehensive digital guide that covers what to wear, where to shop, and tips for looking great in your photos. I will also give you a few "homework assignments" so I can get to know you and your style a little better. I’m happy to answer your questions or consult on wardrobe, and we can communicate in whatever way works best for you.
Step 3: Get Prepped
A couple of days before your shoot, you can expect to get a confirmation email from me; just making sure we are on the same page about your shoot start and end time and location... I’ll also ask if you have any last-minute questions!

Step 4: It's Shoot Day!
Arrive at the studio on your appointment date, ready to feel empowered! Plan to spend 4 hours at the studio.
Step 5: Once The Shoot Begins...
...you can expect me to give you tons of encouragement and direction. I will not expect you to supermodel pose throughout your shoot. I will show you what to do and encourage improvising whenever you feel comfortable. I will say things to elicit laughter whenever possible, too...so be prepared (or actually, don’t. It’s better that way.)
The poses generally aren’t very comfortable, and your shoot will give you more of a workout than you anticipate. But I assure you, I know what I’m doing. Get a good stretch on the morning of your session and the evening after your session. A couple of ibuprofen might need to happen for those lower back aches, but it will allll be worth it!

Step 6: View and Order your Favorite Portraits
Right after your shoot (while you are still at the studio), you will view and order your favorite portraits from our photo collections. All the images you select at your reveal will be enhanced & lightly edited. "Enhanced" means I'll apply my artistic look to them and convert about 75% of them to black and white. "Lightly edited" means I'll erase blemishes, bruises, stray hairs, scratches, or anything that won't be there tomorrow. My general policy is: if it's a permanent part of you, it stays. This includes birthmarks & tattoos. I'll smooth out and de-blotch your skin overall so that cellulite & unwanted texture is minimized. What I WON'T do is change your features or body shape or make you look airbrushed or plastic-y. If there is anything you see in your final images that you want to be retouched away, we can discuss it at your reveal. I'll let you know what is possible & make my professional recommendations.
Step 7: Gallery Delivery
Allow 2-4 weeks for print delivery. Digital images will arrive via a password-protected link sent to your email address.

Your complete Unbuttoned experience will last about 4 hours.
On average, my clients spend around $1500 on their boudoir experience once
albums, prints, wall art, and/or digital products have been ordered.
The nonrefundable session fee of $499 books your session & reserves your date.
