Somewhere between carpool lines and college talk, I realized my own kids, Luke and Alexandra, are juniors now.
One year from this.
One year from the next chapter.
I'm living this season as a mom, too, and it's reminded me just how quickly these years slip by.
Maybe that's why senior year feels different.
It's the last first day of school.
The last Friday night lights.
The last season before life begins to look completely different.
For over a decade, I photographed beautiful weddings—days filled with anticipation, emotion, and moments that passed far too quickly. I learned that the photographs people cherish most aren't always the perfectly posed ones. They're the real ones: the laugh you didn't expect, the quiet pause before the tears, the look that wasn't asked for.
That's exactly what I'm looking for when I photograph you.
Not a version of who you think you should be.
The version of you that exists right now—confident, uncertain, excited, growing, and completely yourself.

While your senior is dreaming about everything that's ahead, you're quietly remembering everything that brought them here.
The first backpack.

Then we'll head out and create together.
You don't have to worry about what to do with your hands, where to stand, or whether you're "photogenic." I'll guide you every step of the way with gentle direction that never feels forced. Most seniors tell me they forget the camera is even there after the first few minutes.
